Join us for this exciting talk on “Two Decades of Conservation Dogs in Africa: A Look Back and a Glimpse at the Future”
Dr. Pete Coppolillo , Executive Director of Working Dogs for Conservation (WD4C), has worked in Africa since 1991, as a student, researcher, conservationist, and with WD4C since 2010. He’ll share highlights from WD4C and others’ conservation dog work in ecological monitoring, wildlife crime, biosecurity, and environmental justice, and share some thoughts on future work there.
Working Dogs for Conservation is a US Based nonprofit trains rescues to become conservation dogs, and deploys them to protect wildlife and wild places. Over their 30 year history they have worked in 36 countries and 45 US States. For more information please visit WD4C.org
