Africa & Ale 2017 with Horse & Dragon Brewing Co.

The Africa Center is excited to host our annual Africa & Ale event on Wednesday April 26 from 4-6 p.m. at SoGES, Johnson Hall Room 108.

This year's event is a special collaborative effort between the Africa Center, Horse & Dragon Brewing Co. of Fort Collins, CSU's Fermentation Science and Technology degree program, and CSU's Art and Art History Dept.

Guests will be treated with African-inspired beer, hand-crafted by our volunteer CSU students and Linsey Cornish, head brewer at Horse & Dragon. Additionally, appetizers will be catered from Nyala Ethiopian Restaurant of Fort Collins!

Art students will display African-inspired wood-block posters, which will be available for purchase in a silent auction. All proceeds benefit students of the CSU Art & Art History Dept.

Members of the Africa Center will share their experiences, and guests will learn more about what the Africa Center does, and how we support CSU graduate students with our Graduate Student Fellowship program. A $5 donation by guests will help to support the future of this Africa Center program.
